Claudia Herbreteau

In 2013, Crown’s No.8 received a makeover with the arrival of a new chef, John Lawson. The brief was to refresh the existing identity to reflect the craft-oriented and produce focused philosophy behind John Lawson’s approach to food.


A series of graphics were developed by immersing leaves in boiling water and baking soda. The flesh of the leaves was then delicately removed with tweezers to reveal their skeleton.
